Vidwan Pattabhirama Pandit hails from a family of musicians. Having been initiated by his mother in to the field of music at the age of three, he got formal training from Vallabham Kalyana Sundaram for 6 years and also learnt from Sangeetha Kalanidhi Dr. S. Ramanathan. Later he was mentored by Great maestro, Sangeetha Kalanidhi, Padma Shri, Palghat K.V.Narayanaswamy for many years and presently he is being guided by Padma Narayanaswamy.
An “A” graded artiste of AIR, Pattabhirama Pandit has a powerful and energetic voice. His open throated style of singing with dedication, efforts he puts in for the concert and awesome stage presence has brought him to the forefront of the most promising and sought after young artists.

He has been conferred with many awards such as Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar, Karnataka Kalashree, Outstanding Achievements Award from Vasundhara Performing Arts, Nadajyothi Puraskar Award, Yuva Purandhara award, Nada Chintamani to mention a few.
